is it possible to transfer AA miles from one user to a different user's HH account using points.com. My sister has no use for her ~20K AA miles and I would like them to be converted into HH points and transfered to my HH account (of course paying $25).
What is another cheap way of her giving me her 20K AA miles?

OK, a question regarding the transfer. I've done this quite a few times and the points always posted within 72 hours or so. This time around it has been six days. I called AA CS and they said to wait a few more days, despite the fact that the transaction shows as "completed." The problem is that AA can only see it from their side (that someone wants to make the transfer) and HH can only see it from their side (they see nothing, since there are no points yet), so what's there to do?
N.B. There is also a "definitive" thread on transferring AA miles to HH in the Hilton HHonors Forum; the thread is linked to in the Unofficial Users' Guide sticky. It might provide more grist for the mill, and replies for some of the questions here.
(I haven't done this transfer yet, but am looking at transferring a total of 300,000 miles from our two AAccounts to our HH Mutual Account this year. Any experience or feedback welcome...)

There was a note that the fee would increase to $30 and that mileage levels would change.
Minimum mileage transfers for AA non-elites have changed to 25K. The fee was still $25 last week. And while we're being redundant, yes, it's possible to transfer miles from one party's AA account to another named HH account.

UA fan is talking about the new changes coming up in October as listed on the site. The fee is going to $30, but no formal announcement of the new mileage rates. I have a feeling it might change for the worse, certainly not for the better.
If this question relates to a 25K minimum for non-AA elites, this change isn't coming: it's here. See the home page from the link in Post #3.
You got it WRONG.
He is referring a note popped up on the screen about changes will happen Oct 1, fee raised to $30 as well as mileage level changes.
Why dont you check the site first before posting IRREVALENT INFORMATION the second time, even after UA Fan clarified what he referred to is the current notice shown on AA site, not the old information you keep talking about - Is it too much for you to just check the site before posting from your memory?
