i just crossed the 2mm mile mark and got the luggage tags, and letter, but how do the upgrades work? where can i see where they are stored on the site. I have the Upgrade Account Balance at 8 but that's what it's been for a long time. Are there meant to be more? TIA.

Got it!! Looked at my account last night, 999,005. And like Santa visiting on Christmas Eve, a present in the morning... my Fidelity promo 15k posted and I pass 1MM this morning, 1,014,005. Sweet
Hmm... I just finished my EXP and 2MM flight (AA2401 DFW-LAX) this AM... Has anyone else hit 2 milestones on the same flight?
I am sure I am going to get flamed for posting this but hey what the heck no one outside FT would even understand the significance any ways(including my wife) !!
Congratulations! Do you mean you got to 2MM without being an EXP? That is quite unusual.
I am at 1.877 Mil, and only made EXP for the first time late last year, and probably won't see it again. I've been travelling on AA for most of the past 14 years, averaging 12-15 LA/NY trips annually, with lots of hotel and airfare on my Citi AAdvantage card boosting my lifetime count. I hope to hit 2 MM by the end of next year, as my job was changed in June this year and I will only be doing 6-8 trips annually in the future, and don't want to drop below PLT.

That is true. I just presume that there is not a good reason for those not flying a lot on AA to bank miles from other flights, CC, hotels and car rental on AAdvantage. So most of the miles will come from flights and bonus on AA.

I was off by about two weeks. Neat thing - first I got two new "2M" tags and two weeks later got another pair for requalifying!! Now just about every bag Mrs. jimorr67 - and my three kids - own have an EXP tag on them.
Hopefully they don't pick up on your "dual tag qualifying event" and send you the 4 that you deserve.
