I already did that nine days ago, but still waiting for the posting of the miles. I got the email notifying me that I had earned the miles on Saturday. But not posted yet.

I'm sorry, I saw you said you have 100 miles coming from Rewards Network but missed the dining part. Maybe try calling them and ask why they haven't posted?

In the last 2 weeks I've dined 2x at a participating restaurant and one time they posted in 3 days and the other time 2 days. Definitely should be faster than 1 week.

Register for points.com

It's free and it gives you 10 miles which post very quickly (2 days for me).

I did that years ago (when they had some spectacular, big-miles offers for Gold Membership), and I'm still a member. Thank you for the suggestion.

hmm... You can play online games with MSN club live. It won't take too long to earn enough for 100 AAdvantage miles but I am not sure how quickly they post. Maybe someone else who has actually redeemed from that site can advise?

Also, if you are an elite (or maybe not even necessary), you can get 150 miles bonus for sign up. Click from http://aa.com/platinumoffers

A EXP agent won't let you go negative for 4 miles?

What about converting an upgrade sticker for 500 miles? (Or am I the only EXP that still has tons of stickers waiting for when I inevitably drop back down to PLT some day?)

You can EARN them in 15 minutes but it takes 2-3 weeks for them to post to the account.

About a week ago, I took an opinionplace survey, but that has not credited yet. I would consider AAdvantage eshopping, but I don't know that they credit miles quickly enough, and I certainly can't find anything there I really want to buy. So the only reason I would purchase there would be for miles. I have 100 miles coming to me from Rewardsnetwork for a December 6 dine, but I don't know if those will show quickly enough, either.

Moreover, I'm stuck here 24-7 for the next two weeks. So, no flying a short hop for miles.

So, does anyone know a way where you can get miles that credit quickly to your account, other than purchasing, transferring, or any of the above?

A free points.com membership and take the aa bonus.
Netflix 2000 miles for about $9
Worse case scenario you have to buy or use share miles. It's not a big cost in the overall scheme.
Netflix used to post fast.

Have you called the EXP desk and explained your situation. If you are looking to book a reward I can't believe that they won't let you slide for 4 miles - esp. since you have miles that will post shortly.

PS: As for aadvantageeshopping, i Tunes 1 mile for each dollar spent but it does take a while to post.

Why do you need the 4 miles? If it's for an award, just buying them would be the fastest way to ensure you get the miles in the next few days. If you need them to renew or qualify for elite status, flying is the only way to get miles that count unless you are reaching the 1 or 2 million mile level for lifetime elite.

Seems like the OP has already contemplated purchasing the miles and has decided against it.

Alamo Rental Car posts the day after you return the car.

But why are you in such a hurry? Most agents will gladly overlook 4 measily miles if you explain your situation, especially if you already have some miles being creditted in from any activity within the next week or so.
