Why would you pay for a MR this early in the year when there's a chance that you might have to fly later in the year, anyway (based on your parenthetical comment)? Seems like a possible waste of time and money to me.

That post was from Dec '06.

1MM - I don't remember. Good chance it was DFW-SEA or SEA-DFW. Could have been Citibank.

2MM - When Citibank miles posted in early May for (mostly) April activity. I haven't actually had any flight miles since December.

I made it this week!

San Antonio - DFW

A fllurry of eshopping and idines had just posted prior.

It took me six years with a lot of help from flyertalkers.

My husband requests that we work on his first million before I go for 2 million.

Congratulations! My husband is the other way. He rarely flies for work, I fly for work often. When he flies, it is usually with me on vacation. So most of the time when he flies he gets to piggyback my PLT status, so we're working on 2MM for me first. Plus I regularly use my miles to upgrade both of us.

A few credit card miles pushed me over the top, so I was in bed asleep when it happened. Might have been dreaming, though....

Is it just me, or does this thread give flashbacks to some member who dissappeared...Chuckie something? Originater of "Where is AA taking you this summer?" and lots of "I like the sugar cookies!" posts on threads about AA's catering.
