With EQMs you'll only get 500 because they (at least on AA) are unaffected by class of travel, but I have seen other behaviour when you consider EQPs. Short flights in Club Europe on British Airways, under 500 miles, usually post to my account as 500 EQM but 750 EQP and 625 RDM + status bonus (as % of 500).

It should be noted that the only way to get exactly 750 Q-points (short of a posting error) under these parameters is for the flight to be exactly 500 miles long. Q-points are a function of the actual miles flown times the multiplier, which is then rounded to the minimum, not the minimum miles times the multiplier.

This is a very important distinction. Put another way, on flights of 334 miles or more, you will get 1.5 points times the actual miles flow; and on flights of 333 miles or less, you will get 500 points.
