Seriously, did you even click on the link provided in this post?

but any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.

I will post later today how to do it without reading/understanding Japanese.

Yup, Transpac Japanese meals must now be pre-ordered (as of 1 Feb 2010) post #38 by kebosabi looks more than what I would post here.

Japanese meal on AA isn't always joke but I will avoid Japanese meal on AA as much as possible(especially flight departing from US).
As a Japanese, Japanese meal on AA is a still challenge for me.

The AA Link http://www.aa.com/i18n/travelInforma...hipEntrees.jsp show Autumn Meal (and I think it is Autumn 2010). Does anyone have details on current December Japanese First Class meal ORD-NRT?
Thanks

Is the 9pm JFK-LHR the full dinner service or the "late night dinner service"?

Answer: Its the late night dinner service. Drinks, nuts and crudite to start.

App was plated Shrimp / Salmon, bread service.

Was offered soup (not bad) and a choice of beef, chicken or shrimp served (a) over a salad or (b) with rice/veges on side. (or in my case, both since I asked and they had both left).

Now that AA is under bankruptcy, maybe they can find a way to replace the chicken breast with the non-bankrupt lobster tails again? That would be an incentive, for me anyway, to get into 1st more often on AA. @:-)

Service was great (the purser always addressed everyone by name and was extremely pleasant), best wine in a while (including a nice vintage champagne), and food was good enough if not great. Overall a nice flight and almost overkill for the quick ride over to LHR.

Night and day from my PVG flight last month where the purser told me she just got off the crew bus and was tired when I asked her for a meal recommendation! The rest of the service was equally "friendly".

Yes - what a surprise it was to see a vintage champagne on AA!

However, lets not get too excited. Its not the easiest champagne to drink. A little too intense for my palette (without the subtlety that comes with some of the better vintage champagne). A little bitter, a little heavy. But still a step in the right direction.

What are they serving in J nowadays? - I forgot to ask...
