Outrageous FL behavior [stealing the copy machine paper]

Ok - perhaps outrageous is a bit extreme and there might be a thread similar but I didn't find it. Sitting at the JFK FL lounge when a guy comes through the door (after another person so he could have been hallway waiting from the AC), and says "I'm just here for a quick drink". I didn't watch him go to the bar but did see him with a handful of food, walk up to the copy machine and open the drawer and then take out all the paper and stuff it in his bag and leave the FL - all in a couple minutes.

Really? What a scum bag.

That's not so weird. Also not outrageous. I'd call that one "cheap".

Come on folks, my choice of adjectives is 50% off for the next 30 minutes!

Paper? I'd call that outrageous. It's going to get all bent up in his carry-on, what's the point?

$50 does not get him a pass to the Flagship Lounge, only admission to the Admirals Club.

If he was entitled FL admission, he is a cheap $%!!@#. If he was not entitled admission, the FL Agent should have tossed him out as he attempted to come in.

I saw a customer last week at my job shove about half a dozen of our complimentary donuts into a bag, which was lined with a plastic bag, i.e. he was prepared and planned to take the 50 cent donuts. This guy does know a 500-stack of paper costs next to nothing right? I'm amazed what people will do for <$5 worth of things.

A couple of weeks before TWA "merged" with American Airlines I was caught taking two coffee mugs from the Ambassador Club at LAX.

The agent at the desk came over and said "sir we are not out of business yet" !

It was nice she allowed me to keep them (and didn't have me arrested either).

I still have the mugs and they are a nice reminder of the good old days.

No doubt. About 20 years ago (when the Globe cost like 30 cents, I think) I saw a guy near Government Center dig a newspaper out of a trash can, and stuff it in his briefcase. He was wearing a pretty nice suit, obviously on his way to work. For Reals??

So, is that the new metric? If on a day pass, you can steal as long as it's less than $50? What if I have an annual paid membership? Can I steal up to the cost of the membership each year and it's okay, since AA still "made a buck" on me? I sometimes gain admittance via my Amex - how much does that allow me to steal per visit before it's no longer okay?
