ON my AAdvantage monthly statement: Receive 500 AA miles when you bring a friend with you to give blood at selected New York and New Jersey blood centers.

Wow, what an ingenius use of miles by a non-profit! That is great!

The only problem, I hope that some of use FlyerTalkers don't go nuts and try to donate 4 or 5 times in a day to earn more AAdvantage miles!

I hope AA is donating those miles to help get people to give blood. If the center is buying them, I would let them put the cost of the miles towards research or something.

Do you get the miles if you "give" and then "receive" the blood??? Keith Richards does this all the time. Of course, he can afford to fly First wherever he goes.
