AA 25,000 [Need 25,000 EQM for EXP status]
What would be the best (and most economic) way of completing AA 25,000 miles by the end of the year?

Sign up for a Citi AA Visa card and spend the requisite amount.

Unless this is an attempt to obtain Gold status (requiring 25,000 Qualifying Miles). In that case, fly and sign up for the Double Qualifying Miles promotion documented here.
Cheers.

If the OP isn't already elite, will the double qualifying mile/point promo be available?

If he is on a challenge of some sorts, the DEQM may not apply.

Thanks. That will really swell the elite ranks - how will we ever get upgraded?

I think we need the OP to come back and explain what kind of miles he or she is looking for.

Well, that was surely clear from your thread title and first post
As already stated- time to fly. Presumably you have already done some research on routes since you already have 75,000 miles. Perhaps you can share with us the work you've already done on this.
Cheers.

You might want to update that info in your profile space to the left so that people don't have to ask for this basic info to determine your situation.

Dearest OP,
It is so much easier to recommend flights when knowing where you are flying from.
There is another thread about a New York to Hawaii milage run that should net around 20,000 EQM for under $500.
Of course if you live in Missoula this would not be helpful.
