A nice benefit of being OWE on BA include the ability to pre-select exit row seats if they are available (sometimes they are blocked until a few days before departure). It also gives you access to the LHR T5 Gallery First Lounge. To get there, after clearing security, take a right and go down the escalators and go straight and until you see a set of another escalators, where you take it up to the lounge area.
As a OWE/S, you also get priority boarding, so that you can board early and not have to search for overhead bin space.
The BA T5 First lounge is nice, but can often get crowded, especially if there are any weather-related delays (thick fog), which happen frequently at LHR in the winter.

EXP / Emerald gets one advance seat selection, lounges and earlier boarding than for cattle.
LHR T-5 First has some decent snacks and meals offerings, a selection of wines and other "adult beverages" and one can usually find a corner to take refuge in.
In particular at MAD T4-S Sala Velázquez is "El Rincón del Vino" with a nice selection of wines to taste / drink.
As for World or Euro Traveller, nothing special in the air , just try to blag a more decent seat.

FYI - recent travel experience taught me that BA do not let you keep anything under the seat if you sit in an exit row, no matter how big or small. It caught me off-guard and had to put my backpack in the overhead locker.
Not a huge deal but for a short flight, if you want access to your things easier, I'm not sure the exit row is worth it.
Flying BA LHR to Europe.. does an AA EXP get anything extra similar to food/drinks flying AA metal domestically in coach?
I think beer(and may be some wine) is actually free even in Y on BA.
I haven't oreder it as I always felt a little embarrassed to order it in the morning flight.
Actually I haven't seen anyone ordering beer in Y on BA.
On LH, I saw almost all passengers around me in Y ordered free beers in the very early morning flight
