"Your previous session has expired. Please login again." -- Is this new?!?!
I know how excited we all get when we detect that something AA-related has changed: a new font on the boarding passes; a different swizzle stick in the AC; a different brand of toiled paper in the lav. Well -- brace yourself -- today I noticed for the first time that when I returned to aa.com after several minutes of inactivity, instead of getting the old "unstable" whatever message, the contents of which I've already forgotten, I got the message "Your previous session has expired. Please login again." Is this new?!?!
I've been getting this for years, albeit after longer than just a few minutes. Sorry to disappoint.
Interesting. I've seen the "Invalid State" message for as long as I can remember, as opposed to a "Session Time Out" with re-login option message. Surprised that you were seeing the latter.

Cheers.
"Invalid state"! Yes, that's it! Perhaps, Upgraded!, you've been AA's beta tester for the new message, but it's brand new to me. In fact, I don't recall seeing it til today.

Or perhaps I was confused by the fact that I was actually seeing the "invalid state" email, but when you used the term "unstable" I was thinking of those error type messages I get when I try going to a website that no longer exists or the URL was entered wrong. Going to give it a try now and see if it looks any different than usual.

Ah, could be. I was so used to seeing the "invalid state" message that I forgot what it said.
Jake: "How often does the train go by?"
Elwood: "So often you won't even notice it."
A real kicker, say you have two reservations on hold you decide to book. You book the first reservation and when you are done aa.com instead of taking you back to your reservation page goes back to the sign on page and zeros out your AAdvantage number.
By the way- I had to clear my Firefox cookies, but I am now seeing this new functionality as well (had to wait for the session to time out ). Definitely an improvement over the previous method. Yeah, it just saves one click, but it looks more professional.

Cheers,
Don't recall seeing that in your signature before. Nice to meet you, B.
