Which Terminal at DFW do AA hawaii bound flights usually leave/arrive at?
We are booking flights to Maui in early 2013 from DFW on American. I do not know DFW at all and was wondering which terminal would most likely support the flights to and from Hawaii. I am guessing terminal A, but hey, no info from google.

DFW --> OGG flights are departing out of A...for now. However, you could depart out of A, C, or D. You won't really know until it gets much closer to your departure date, and even then it could change at the last minute. However, DFW has Skylink airside...a two directional train system that can take you to any other terminal in 8 or 9 minutes, so it shouldn't be a problem.
"Skylink" is your friend (and inside security). Movement between terminals at DFW to change planes is a snap with regular (every few minutes) trains in both directions. Even heading the wrong way, you'll make the longer arc in 15 minutes or so.
DFW may not be the world's best airport, but has the most navigable terminal change system I've encountered.

Often, the HNL flights depart from Terminal D because they tend to use inbound aircraft from Deep South America that arrive around 6am. For example, tomorrow's Flight 123 DFW-HNL, departing around 11am, uses the aircraft that will land at 6am from Santiago, Chile as Flight 940. As such, AA 123 departs from gate D30.

Aieee! Say it's not so! I love the (underutilized) rain showers in the AC there, and I still get the occasional glimpse of the old Flagship Lounge there (they still use it on occasion, though not as a FL of course).

Click here to see a map (you can click on it to enlarge it) and information about individual terminals, Skylink, etc. Keep an eye on the status boars (or download FlightBoard to your smartphone).
DFW is fortunately very easy to get around.

Indeed, don't take away the rain showers! The main reason I don't mind connecting at DFW on almost any trip . Strange that I get to use former FL areas both at DFW and BOS in the ACs now that I think of it (as a BOS-based EXP, this is my most common route). Slightly off topic, means we will likely lose one of the few remaining non-advanced imaging technology checkpoints remaining at DFW as well, and I'll keep it to that to ward off a thread move.
