"Upgrade not requested" / request not showing IT glitch

Same thing happened to me for a future reservation, except when I called the EXP desk, 2 separate agents told me that my upgrades have been requested. However, AA.com still hows the boxes unchecked and when I tried to request it still said NOT REQUEST.....any advice?

Exact same thing happened to me today. I think it's a web bug. 4 flights, all say no upgrade requested, but when I call the EXP desk, they say that they show that I have requested the upgrades. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Certainly an annoying web glitch, but nothing to be overly concerned about operationally. If they say it is requested (especially multiple times ), it is, despite what the web site might show.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. The agent I talked with said all of my upgrades were showing on her end. She said it was a known glitch.

+1
This happened to me recently. I had to call EXP line just to make sure the upgrade requests were there in proper order.
At T-72 hours (I'm Platinum), I went to check on this reservation. Both flights said upgrade not requested.
I re-requested both outbound and inbound and outbound cleared instantly (telling me that the request was NOT really there). However, the inbound flight said 'Not Requested' and the check box to request the upgrade still appears on the reservation page.
When I'm finally able to reach the Platinum Desk, they tell me the Request is in there for the original date. But, if that's the case, why didn't the outbound clear at T-72, since there was inventory available?

- not always. I have this problem during massive AA schedule change back in April. Some of the flights were no longer making sense and I have asked EXP desk to change my flight to other airports in the DC area. While doing these adjustments, EXP desk noted that I only requested upgrades for a few segments of my trips...

Something is up . . .
As and update: I called Web Services who were little help. They took a report (which only involved me telling them what browser I was using and my internet connection method) and said I would probably not hear back from anyone. They did not say this was a known issue.
Their solution: check the return flights at T-72 hours, re-request, and see if it clears. Very helpful.
Oh well - this is definitely a FWP (First World Problem), as the worst than can happen is I fly in coach. That said, this should just be easier.
I've had the problem with requests showing "Not Requested" for the last week. Emailed support and they told me to call. Just called the desk and the lady said it's a known problem and my requests went through when I tried.

Where did you check the X inventory? I thought EF doesnt show that info until 24 hours out?
___________
FYI, web support was NOT able to fix the issue since they told me they saw my upgrades had been properly requested.
Our upgrades cleared at the 100-hour mark even though the Requested box remained unchecked until it went to Confirmed. So everyone should relax. The system is working even if the website is not.

EXP desk said "we've been getting these calls all day" and everything is fine in the reservation. With that info and vasantn's post I'll sleep soundly tonight.
