"The Appraiser" -- Free AAdvantage Miles
Just got an email from AA with what appears to be a targeted promo. If you get the email, UNSUBSCRIBE FROM ALL AA E-SUBSCRIPTIONS before following the link. It appears, at least in my case, that you get 500 bonus miles for each new subscription. Looks like I left 1500 miles on the table from not knowing any better

ETA: Though the T&Cs specify you must have received the email from AA, you may have luck going to this link and entering your AAdvantage number in the field that pops up. Just scored 2000 miles for my dad in this way. I unsubscribed him from all subscriptions beforehand, but it doesn't look like those unsubscribes took effect. You may want to wait a while between unsubscribing and running the promo. YMMV. Good luck.

The thing just freezes-tried in two different browsers. One browser freezes with "0 addresses appraised" and the other freezes with "2341 addresses appraised".

FYI I unsubscribed first but was still not able to pick the subscriptions i had just unsubscribed from.

I clicked on the link but it simply said "0 addresses appraised." Seems like a glitch of some sort? I tried it in two browsers. I am unsubscribed from all emails.

I got a message I was not eligible (I unsubscribed from all emails), but for the Mrs. it worked, got video, 2500 miles and entered into sweepstake.
PS- the counter on bottom left states that 3060 addresses have been appraised

Tried with various family members' accounts and got a message "Thank you for being an AAdvantage member. Unfortunately you are not able to participate in this promotion" each time

NO email and DH & I were subscribed to everything. Unsubscribed and tried both accounts and nada. Maybe it was only targeted to those who don't have everything checked??

I first tried in IE9 and it froze and said 0 addresses. Tried again in Firefox and it worked just fine.
