A double EQM promotion targeted at people who will almost certainly qualify for elite status based on EQP. Why didn't I think of that?
While the DEQM has fare class restrictions, I don't see the same language in the section outlining the 20% discount.
Does this mean even if we don't plan on buying full Y for the DEQM, we can register for this promo, buy a cheap ticket from BOS/MIA to LHR, and receive a 20% discount to use on another MR? Seems the rules only offer the discount when departing from the targeted area though.....
I am shy 10,000 miles reaching my 2 million. I am new to Flyer Talk, so don't know if AA ever changes promo if enough people complain. As EXP I would suggest that AA change this promo to include all passengers regardless of where they live. Just saw this and called EXP desk to inquire about registration. This promo is only for people that live in a certain area. Even my condo that I pay for each month does not qualify, I was told. Too late tonight to talk to Advantage desk or customer service, but plan to do that in the AM. Hope AA values us and would want to have our money.

Just change your AAdvantage-registered address to the condo address. Then try again.
