CNN segment features FlyerTalker EXP

CNN was running a spot today on beauty consultant EXP who is more comfortable flying than being at home. Her friends said Clooney's movie character was her but hoped she wouldn't get "grounded".

The spot showed AC and FL at LAX, talked about avoiding the lines, and riding in first (of course). It starts with the lady showing her EXP card while lounging at a club.

The person in that segment is a FlyerTalker. And a health care consultant, not a beauty consultant.

I also saw the story on CNN. The lady seems to find her life exciting and fulfilling. Good for her. The longer I travel a lot, the more I value family, relationships and friends. Different strokes, I guess.

This thread has now been split out from the Up In The Air thread as a CNN feature of a FTer deserves a thread of its own!

I recognize her. I was even on a couple of flights with her during the fly 3 / 30k bonus mile thing a few years back.

I have an urge to have a prickly pear margarita all of a sudden.

Looked like 3E on a 738. There shouldn't be a meal service, so FEBO doesn't come into play. Would have had more leg room if she had selected a seat further back. Maybe that was all that was left when she cleared.
