Luckily, HP made the transition easier by printing status on all BPs much like other airlines such as UA do. ^

My on-line profile reflects my status, plus with the status printing on the boarding pass, I'm not too worried about it. Yet.
After a few years years of Platinum "the real way", I only re-qualified as Gold and that was due to the "purchased First Class" promo they had last year ... not due to miles or segments. So I can't blame them if I've been placed nearer to the bottom of the heap
I'll wait another couple of weeks before I start bugging them.
