I am thinking about making the switch from UA Mileage Plus to NH Mileage Club for 2009 and beyond. Can anyone help give some pros and cons to the switch? Thanks a lot!
thanks. usually i am in economy. though sometimes in business and first for travel. i tend to fly between oneworld and *a. i like cx service and in flight ent but also fly *a for a lot for china domestic routes and us domestic routes. *a i usually fly 30-50k miles a year and oneworld i fly over 60k miles a year.

Well one of the biggest obstacles in your way is that most of your paid economy flights, unless full fare, will net you only 70% mileage. I'd say go for Platinum if you feel you can make it 50k which would require about half of that on NH metal IIRC, otherwise you're better off earning 100% mileage with another program like UA.
