Rear Club ANA mini-cabin on 777-300ER

I am currently scheduled to fly JFK-NRT-JFK in Club ANA (Business Class) in about 2 weeks. As I purchased the ticket via United, with a United flight number, ANA won't let me choose my seats in advance, and United assigned me to the only available seat in the only row they were allocated: 16C, the last row of Business Class, in the rear mini-cabin. I've checked expertflyer, and it seems there are no other aisle seats available. My question is, based on the experience of the members in this forum, whether there are significant disadvantages to that row. In other words, is it less private because of the adjoining economy cabin, and is the service sparser in any way?

Many thanks in advance for your time.

I forgot to mention...

...that this will be my first time flying ANA and visiting Japan, and I am very excited/anxious on both accounts.

A question to you

Why do you need to booked as a codeshare ? Is it that much cheaper than book thru NH ?

You know that no matter where you book, it is the metal counts, hence no UA elite bonus, no UA lifetime miles, won't qualify for any UA promotion. All you are going to get is the class of serivce bonnus.

A codeshare restict the seats you can choose, as UA are buying block seats.

I booked through UA because the fare was significantly less expensive than what NH was offering.

Passengers from a 'lower' class of service are not allowed into your cabin. Also unlike US carriers they are still allowed to draw the curtains, so your experience in no way should be affected by your row. You're also only one row away from the bar, so should you get thirsty or need snacks it's pretty convenient.

Thank you very much ctflyer3000. That's encouraging. I also didn't know that NH does a bar set-up.
