There are some photos of the 787 PY cabin on this Japanese aviation news website:

The photo of Y suggests that the IOJ-era slide-back Y seats are gone... as is the 34" pitch, as expected.

Yes, those seats at the bottom look entirely different to the Y ones fitted on 77W and low-density international 787.
No mention of these style of seats on ANA websites.

The relevant portion is here:

また、これまでエコノミーのリクライニング方式は背もたれを固定し、座面のみ動かすことで後席への影響をな くしていたが、利用者からの声を反映し、背もたれも動くようにした。メーカーはゾディアック・シート・US 。
Translation:
In addition, the fixed shell economy seats used up until now did reduce the impact on those seated behind, but ANA, reflecting feedback from their customers, replaced them with standard seats with movable backs. They are manufactured by Zodiac Seats US.
Perhaps they're a modified version of these?

Also, there are apparently 3 aircraft fitted with the new layout as of September 1.

They look about right, with different tray tables/IFE and looks like iPod connection has gone too.
Of course it's due to customer feedback - and nothing to do with being able to reduce pitch and fit an extra row in. This is clearly an improvement for passengers

No airline plans to have F on the 787-8, but several plan to have F in the larger variants of the 787.

China Southern has F on the 787-8.

I have heard that BA is planning to put F class on its 787-9s.

Thanks (not that I'll ever voluntarily fly China Southern)!

Good to know that NH has given up "fixed back sliding torture seats" finally.
Also surprised to hear that they ever seriously consider passengers' feedback against
those terrible seats

Main reason I avoid the 787.

IIRC, back in July 2013, when NH announced the 9 ab Y configuration on the 788, I said ventured it would only be a question of time for NH to switch to 10 ab on 777-300ER.

Now that this is confirmed, it will be interesting to see how the competition stacks up between JL at 9 ab on the A350XWB and NH at 10 ab on the 777.

I think I'm in the extreme minority that actually liked the fixed back seats. I enjoyed not having someone's seat back in my lap. Then again I'm only 5'4" so maybe my shorter height made it more tolerable.

BA is indeed putting an F on the 787-9. The only one I know of so far.
