Missed this thread and started duplicate one here to know taxes/fuel surcharges on AI flight. I ended up calling ANA customer care in US and the amount told to me was $283.00

I was hoping someone could help me out if I'm wrong about this. I am planning a trip to japan next spring (LAX-NRT), and was hoping to transfer my Amex points to AMC to book 3 award tickets. My question is if I redeem a reward and fly NH or UA or any other partner there will still be a fuel surcharge. If this is the case, does this mean flying from LAX-NRT regardless of carrier or milage program there will be a fuel surcharge? Also, would flying business with a 3 year old be a bad idea with the staggered seating?

Thinking of the best way to book an intra-Europe (Scandinavia) trip and ANA came to mind. Can someone assist in telling me what kind of YQ I would be looking at for the following flights: CPH-OSL-ARN-HEL-CPH (stopping in each city for a few days)
