Hopefully not too far OT.
I've tried to figure out lounge access, but with the quirks in US carrier lounge access policies, I'm just not sure. (e.g., no lounge access on *A with UA 1K except for int'l flights - my status match carrier)

Lounge Access
International First and Business Class passengers as well as SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling in Economy Class enjoy complimentary access to most SkyTeam partner lounges worldwide. Simply present your same-day ticket for an international SkyTeam airline flight. As a SkyTeam Elite Plus passenger, you can even invite a guest to join you in the lounge.
Does Freccia Alata Plus give me lounge access for domestic US flights on NW/DL? If it does, this would be a great deal - free - for the rest of the year

Anyone received actual card for status match promotion
I faxed my UA 1K card and my MilleMiglia status got updated the next day. I guess I got lucky judging by the other posts here. When I checked in in ORD my boarding pass did NOT show the CFA status, but when requested an agent in Rome she was able to do something in the system and re-printed the boarding pass which I used for lounge access.
I am afraid the same trick may not work on other SkyTeam airlines and would like to get the actual plastic card. Has anyone received it after getting the status matched? How long did it take?

I called Alitalia/MilleMiglia USA number and the agent said they would issue a "new" card. I haven't received the "old" one and from reading this forum I understand that the welcome pack (even for status match) included an upgrade voucher. I bet the replacement pack - if I ever receive it - would not contain a voucher which is a shame as I am planning an AZ flight and would love to be upgraded.
Same here or the recorded operator telling me that there is an error - 2 days running
I have just scanned in the form and emailed it to my local Alitalia MilleMiglia centre (London) explaining the problems I have had in faxing it to Italy.

Anyone got an alternative number?
Also, to echo the question above, how long does it take to get the actual card?

I am sure you already are doing this but just in case....
You need to put the ZERO after the country code as well. It is quite bizzare because usually when dialling internatonal, normally you would omit the ZERO which domestic callers use. But for Italian numbers all callers need to use that ZERO.

None. Alitalia's MM department in London has ignored my email. I'm still having no joy sending the fax.
Truly frustrating.
Had the same experience, applied in August on-line (had received the promo from AirOne, which had extensively flown when was a LH affiliate) and faxed my GEC card about 10 days afterwards (the fax was disconnected for a long while). After that, nothing. Well, I'll not bother even calling them, and will pass on that promotion and continue to fly *A or OW . From the various feedbacks read, service , reliability and spread of the entwork (to not talk of sustainability) is pretty poor. Said to say for an Italian, but LH and its Italian regional Air Dolomiti network, is all another planet.

I still haven't managed to get through. The UK MM office has ignored the initial email I sent as well as the follow up.
I rang them and they weren't interested.
I got a friend who speaks Italian to ring MM in Italy who were just as disinterested and told him to keep faxing.

Cheers -
In the left side of your name (top of the profile page), there wil be the logo showing your status. Green logo - basic level still, so no action on your fax yet.
Else, it will state Freccia Alata (yellowish-amber) or Freccia Lata Plus (Black).
