At the bottom of that page it states:

Both AirOne and Alitalia will continue to retain their own codeshare agreement with existing partner carriers for the time being.
I assume this means we can continue earning Skyteam mileage on flights operated by AZ, but I'm uncertain whether we still earn them on flights operated by AP. If the former, the ORD-FCO-PSA route is back in play for me this coming year, but if not, it's out of play.
(although, at only 20k EQM's for Ulisse, maybe it's better for me if it ends up in another alliance, since I'd get status in that alliance with two r/t's.)
I have to say that, even if not surprised, I will be quite annoyed if they manage to chop the THIRD flight to SKG within a year (AP from MXP, after they've done away with AZ from MXP then AZ from FCO)

The newspapers in Italy are reporting this morning that an agreement has been made for AFKL to invest in 25% of the new AZ. Looks like it will be staying in Skyteam.

I see that LAX-FCO is gone. Any idea when this is "official" so I can start working with DL to get new flights?
The list is strictly for the rest of 2008/09 Winter season. FCO-LAX is actually on Amadeus timetable display, but there are no availabilities or such flight in Alitalia's inventory, so it's hard to say

The fight is not over. And once again is the sticky point of MXP vs. FCO.
The north is strongly in favor of LH and its operations at MXP, Rome is openly in favor of AF and its support of FCO....

Indeed, very difficult position I am in right now. Alitalia hasn't cancelled it officially, just "zero'd it out". And DL won't make a change until Atlitalia cancels it.
