Between my wife and myself, we have flights booked between ORD and MXP on 7 planes in the next few months. Every one comes up on the Travel Desk as a 767. Does this mean they are actually flying the same metal every time, or is it just giving a generic listing?

alitalia.com won't show any of my itineraries. How do I know for sure what metal we'll be on?

Will you be flying in business or in economy?

Yeah, no 764 are sent to ORD because it is one of Alitalia's longer flights and only the old 767 have crew rests (horizontal beds...).

i mean in the end... the economy seats are the same in both the reconfigured and no reconfigured planes (code 764 and 767), only difference for the reconfigured ones is that you get more LCD tv's in the ISLES.
But yeah for seat assignments the code for your plane is 767.

767-400 seats

We're flying on AZ645/AZ644 764 in March (economy). Seem a bit of discussion on the seats on Alitlia planes and was wondering if my wife and I had a choice of the 2 outside seats or hoping to get 2 of the 3 seats in the middle section..which would be the wiser choice? Some planes on the outside seats have a curveture which makes it a bit uncomfortable. Where are the LCD monitors for viewing in economy??? Seatguru doesn't have a good layout of the Alitalia planes.

Thanks

On the 764 Alitalia has increased significantly the number of LCD monitors in the cabin. So all seats should be fine for viewing the screens.

How many do they have of each configuration? Also, is there a list available of the names of the planes (each one has a name on the nose; I was on 767 Marco Polo a few days ago, it was very nice and clean).

Outside seats on a 764

How is the floor space underneath the two seats on the outside of the plane? Some planes I've flown on have reduced floor space next to the window. Is this true on the 764??

Also, are there power ports at the seats in economy???

thanks

Seat pitch is the same in ALL of the economy cabin, the 2 seats by the window do not have reduced pitch.
No powerports.

HA!! my favourite Italian word - BOH!
What a wonderful word with so many uses. Especially here in the Veneto where all the men seem to use it to mean everything from the classic "I don't know." to "Go away and make it fast!"...

Yes it on the BOS-MXP route or anytime you see 764. Well on their website they don't even talk about the 777 business class or any business class SEATS for that matter.
What do you mean when did they do the upgrade?
