A330 from JFK-MXP - quick question about seats

I'm supposed to fly on the Alitalia flight tomorrow from JFK-MXP on their A330.

I looked on the Delta website (I bought my ticket there) and saw that there were many rows of seats that were completely empty.

Is this accurate? or is it that people just haven't selected their seat yet?

I ask because I chose a window seat towards the front, but I'd be very happy to move back and sleep across four seats.

If it is likely that the seats are indeed empty, do the arms go all the way up?

Thanks!

Tomorrow's 605 looks pretty busy to me at the front, in fact the website is showing just 1 seat available (according to Expert Flyer, all J seats are now taken).

Edit (apologies - I somehow thought you were flying business, there are indeed quite a few seats available towards the back):

BookingClass - Seat Availability
J - 1
C - 1
P - 5
A - 5
Y - 4
B - 4
M - 4
H - 3
K - 2

Thanks for the prompt response and the edit. I thought perhaps I was unclear, but I guess in everyone's haste, things become less clear.

Will I be able to lift the armrests all the way up and sleep across?

Hope someone knows

Of course you will. As we speak, most seats in the middle rows seem empty so you should be able to snatch one for you tomorrow.

Safe travels, enjoy

Well, some planes that I've been on have armrests that go up about 85 percent of the way. They just don't disappear between the two seat backs.

Thanks again!
