Hi guys,

Booked ticket with AZ on AZ a330-200 metal and the seatmap confuses me. Seatguru and alitalia pdf say that their a330's have 42 rows, with 12 being bulkhead and 29 being exit row. However the seat selection tool says there are 44 rows, with 31 being the exit row and 12 the bulkhead. There is no extra charge on all of these seats. Is there anyone who can confirm for me which version is true?

Thanks in advance!

Are you flying to AUH?
Looks like it's one of the two A332 received from EY.

Negative, flight is to Tehran (IKA).

Seatmap you posted resembles the one I can see online, so therefore row 31 is the exit row?

According to Expertflyer.com, row 32 is at the emergency exits. Might be that the middle seats of row 31 are bulkhead seats...? No guarantee...

Did you already fly it?

Same route and same issue. To be exact mine is from IKA and not to. Seems to be the ex EY's 332.
So I selected row 32.

Reviving this thread for advice... am doing FCO-GRU solo in January, and have bagged 1L on the 777 each way. My focus is privacy, rest and getting prompt attention from crew when I need it. Any views on this seat choice?

I recently travelled to Chile with AZ in eco. Both directions were on 772 with - as far as I could tell - the same layout, but while the outgoing flight had an IFE with touch screens only, the return flight featured non-touch IFE with a very clumsy and slow UI (and bad audio quality) with a cable-connected controller. The latter system was the same technology (including the inflight map) used, IIRC, about 15 years ago, on KLM's 777 (I hope I correctly recall it was KLM), quite modern at the time.
Movie selection was identical on both flights, somewhat inferior compared e.g. to AA or BA.

Has anyone flown the new 777-300ER that Alitalia just put into service last December? I am about to fly on it next week and I wanted to know the configuration. Does it have a new IFE system? Also I am trying to upgrade to Classica Plus and want to see if its worth it. Almost no new info on this plane,
