Just book J on AZ for the first time, FCO-LAX on the 777. Can anyone shed more light on the IFE situation? I've read other places that it was going to be updated to be like the A330 but this thread seems to indicate that has not (or will not) happen. Is it decent?

I've traveled in 1L and it was perfectly fine. On row 3 you may get less noise from the galley, but the difference is not so noticeable.
My favorite row is always the last one so I can take pics for the TRs without having too many people looking at me with puzzled face, though

Alitalia business class seating A330-200
I am flying a business class code share flight from FCO to AUH on Altialia A330-200. AZ852 01 June 2016.
I am trying to select seats but the seats I am being offered through Etihad do not match the seat plan on any review or seat guru.
If I look at the seating through Alitalia's own website it makes even less sense & resembles no existing layout I can find.
Basically I would like to select a window seat that is actually next to the window (not the aisle version) I believe these are 2A or L & 4A or L
I have currently been allocated 3L which does not appear to even exist. It should be 3J.
Can anyone explain what is happening here as my travel agent says he cannot book a seat he is not being offered ie 4A.
I have included screen shots of the different options I am being faced with

I think the retrofit it´s only for the seat covers, not IFE.
Look at the retrofitted EI-DBK, the photos were taken a 10 days ago.

Alitalia a332 fleet
There are two a332s in AZ fleet that were inherited from Air One, and both are a decade older than the rest of AZ's a332s. I flew those older planes in 2011 FCO-BOS-FCO and the experience was bad! The interior was something like a school bus. Does anybody knows if AZ finally brought those planes to the 21st century?
