Personalized greeting from purser

Hi,

it happened a couple of times so I see a trend: the purser introducing him/herself to me personally, stating how much they valued my preference and asking if everything was all right or they could help me in any way.

In one case, they made reference to IRROPS I suffered the day before and were very apologetic about it.

Great! I wonder if I'll get the same greeting on my CAI-FCO-JFK in business in a couple days.

Is this something they do for Skyteam Elite (plus?) members or their own FFP only?

I would say only for CFP, and maybe even more selective than that (or simply just started: I never had it before)
