Me too.
I'm seeing $516 on an economy RT right now and $856 on business. I'm just pulling up the fares on ITA ex-BOS and looking at the YQ/YR, which I've found to be the cost that gets passed through on the award.

Are you booking ex-Italy? The fare construction isn't reversible. When I flip the route (FCO-BOS-FCO) and change the sales city to Rome, I only see $625 in business and $400 on economy. I haven't tried the sales currency as EUR to see if anything else changes, but it's safe to say that fuel surcharges are lower ex-Italy vs ex-USA.

Westbound AF from the east coast is a different animal - short flight, curtailed service - but our eastbound CDG-BOS segment was great. Might be nice to see what Alitalia and Air France both have to offer.

We did AF one way and AZ the other way last month, though it was roundtrip LAX. And while the hard wear on the AF A380 was fantastic, the service and food on AZ was far superior. They are both nice products, though, and it was nice to be able to compare.

And the whole itin (LAX-FCO/BLQ-FCO-LAX) was $330 in fuel surcharges? What was the total with all AZ fees?

Wow, that's excellent. Last I'd checked, I was seeing the published fare YQ passed on, but you paid significantly less than that.

I checked today for another thing, and confirm RT taxes for JFK-MIL are about 210 eur depending on the routing.
