Oct 16, 2023Is it worth to take upper kenai rafting tour? we have to catch 11:30pm flight in ANC. We are leaving seward in the morning and planning to visit sea life center and exit glacier, the upper kenai tour only have 2 pm and 6pm. if we take the 6pm tour, it will be ended 9pm, so from cooper landing to ANC airport, do you think we will have enough time? Is there anyway to see the river by ourself?

If you end your tour at 9pm there is no way you could make an 11.30pm ANC departure. Not even close.
Rather than from Cooper Landing have you considered Six Mile Creek near Hope?

It is closer to Anchorage and has Class V rapids not found elsewhere in Alaska.
