W QX 2034 RDM-PDX
W QX 2083 PDX-RDM
Th QX 2294 RDM-SEA
Th AS 742 SEA-ATL (in F, yay)
Su AS 743 ATL-SEA (not in F, boo, don't want to cash 50K for a one way)
Su QX 2297 SEA-RDM
You'd think I still needed to earn MVPG for next year or something, but no. The double miles to ATL will be nice, though.
Flying to SFO over Thanksgiving, leaving on the busy Wednesday and returning on Sunday. Was able to find a reasonably priced fare for the flight down on Wednesday, but the Sunday return was very expensive. Decided to try Virgin America on the return flight and first class was only $30 more than coach. Looking forward to trying out the 55" seat pitch on VX.
I like the new one stop between Seattle and Arcata. QX recently replaced ACV-RDD-PDX with ACV-RDD-SEA. The trip to SEA takes less than 3 hours now. The downside is that I miss the opportunity to enjoy a pint of IPA at the Laurelwood Brewery in the A Concourse at PDX between flights.

Yeah, but you have a couple good brew places in Lost Coast, Humbolt and Mad River. I must say Laurelwood has some good beer and now that my flights to OAK are on QX, I would rather wait at Laurelwood than the AS Boardroom. Just another reason to not renew my membership when it expires in January.

Never flown on QX that far south... but it is a nice area of the country

i fly that route too... however the new setup reduces the miles one can earn... instead of earning sea-pdx + pdx-acv, it is now only acv-sea

Thanks!! Been lurking on this site for years and finally signed on.
The trip between ACV and SEA was pretty smooth. We had a tailwind going north and arrived in SEA 30 minutes early. Looks like the RDD-SEA leg is long enough for the new QX snack service. I bought the $6 picnic pack on the northbound. It included popped potato chips, cheese spread and crackers, peperoni, cookies and a fruit strip. It was pretty good. I bought the chips and salsa yesterday for $3.50. It included a good amount of chips but not enough salsa. A Ghiradelli chocolate was in there as well.

Maokh, are you NUTS?? BRW in November? Might as well put sunglasses on and hang out in a freezer. But that isn't why you are nuts, it's because you upgraded an AS segment on AA ticket stock! But they will cancel your ticket! U isn't U everywhere! Ohhhh nooo
