It's mid-December already and I haven't seen one offer of a McCormick & Schmick's gift certificate in four flights since Thanksgiving.
It must be tough times or something.
Has anyone seen one being offered on an Alaska flight during December?
That 20 bucks off a nice dinner got me going to a Seattle McCormick & Schmick's several times during the holidays.
Bah.
Humbug!

I flew on the 17th and was in the SEA Boardroom that day - NONE! I'm still waiting but won't fly again until 2 Jan. It will be interesting to see if they really do start handing them out.
as i am a flight attendant at horizon we were told to expect the McCormick & Schmick's coupons on the 18th not sure if its the same for alaska. hope that helps

Make sure to ask. F/A's can be pretty busy doing their routine procedures and can sometimes forget to hand them out.

I got two in F on AS 566 Tuesday but that did NOT make up for the four canceled flights and getting called on my phone an hour AFTER I found my primary flight canceled only because as I was running to the gate after the nice MVPG lady told me the plane was on time the monitor said "Canceled." And it only took four hours to drive to PDX in the snow today!

pretty busy??? i know there are some amazing FAs out there, but i mostly see them with plenty of time while chatting up their life stories in the aft galley. i'm just sayin'!

My experience on AS has been the opposite. Sure some are just chatting, but most work hard and are good at what they do. Charles (who I have had before) on my flight yesterday gave great, friendly F service, addressing me as Mr. XXXXXX each time he offered me something. There were some, shall we say, challenging passengers on the flight, but he handled them professionally and courteously. He hardly sat down (even through some rough turbulence when he probably should have).
Scored a $20 cert on QX2083 PDX-RDM tonight. Partially made up for getting kicked back to 10E from 1B on account of weight and balance (22 ticketed on a Q400).
