Your dates must've been better than mine. I was tracking via spreadsheet award rates for 25 (warmer!) destinations for the week between finals and x-mas. I watched as inventory started bad and got worse, eventually tightening up to the point where I couldn't even find a Super Saver to Seattle.

To clarify...the best options I am finding is Full Flex coach for weeks surrounding the holidays - 27,500 miles EACH WAY in coach. Granted, I am trying to fly between ANC and BZN, which is a bad enough route as is.

I'm just bummed that the US-S.America business award on LAN has gone up from 75k to 90k miles required. Argh.

Yes, this is going to cost me a bunch. On the positive side, you can use your miles on LA, LP, 4M and XL now (previously LA only). On the negative side, you can't use your miles in the front of 2 cabin narrowbodies in South America now.
