AS needs a new copywriter

Latest emailed Insider:

Addressed to "Hey there, MVP Gold member." Hey there?

"Fly Premium Class & arrive in style"

"Travel in Premium Class and enjoy four more inches of legroom, plus free snacks and drinks. And, with your MVP Gold status, you'll get even more chances for a complimentary upgrade so you can try it for yourself."

Oh, boy! I got a complimentary upgrade to PC! So I can try it! Be still my beating heart! Do their copywriters understand how gold is earned?

How Shakespearean! 9C or not 9C. That is the question!

Just sent in a new feedback to AS about a flight I took a few days ago. While filling out the form, I realized I still haven't heard back from them regarding another feedback form I sent on 3/18. I know they're slammed right now but this is getting ridiculous.

Last of my green "Alaska Airlines a la cart" tags went on the bag. After this guy wears out, it'll be the new "Alaska" ones.

Ding dong, water is gone

FA announced today on EUG-PDX that there was no scheduled beverage service at all due to length of flight, not even using the turbulence reason. It's been months since I've seen the water on this route. BYOH2O.

Has anyone had an issue with the new tags breaking? I had to write and ask for more sending them a picture of the crack where the lanyard attaches. One would think.

Also Beckoa can you start a petition to AS "No More Tortellini" ?

Forgot to add that FA stated that seat cushions used as a flotation device in a water landing must be returned within 10 business days. New policy or made up by rogue FA?

That it did, and I already pay attention! I'd say QX's safety briefing is one of the better ones out there. There seems to be a bit of theatrics by policy/culture but some of the FA's really get into it and ham it up a bit. Contrast that to other airlines where the FA's are annoyed/bored when doing the demo rather than having a video screen do it for them.
