ALK eliminating takeover poison pill
At the request of (major) shareholders, the board of Alaska Air Group has eliminated the rights plan which would come into play if there was a hostile bid for the company.

This would make it potentially interesting if someone made a friendly bid for ALK (AS's NYSE symbol) and then someone else decided to make a hostile bid.
