Please welcome dayone as new mod
dayone as agreed to become a moderator for the Alaska Airlines and Virgin American forums. He actively and helpfully participates in both. That's useful as both forums will be merged at some point in the future. ryandc99 remains the comod for both forums. Jackal is taking a sabbatical and anticipates returning in the fall. We have paired an excellent, seasoned mod, Pat89339 with dayone who will coach him thru the next few weeks.

However, to truly replace jackal you must:
1. Have a permanent address that you may or may not visit for not more than two days (not consecutively) in any given 6 month period. More than two days and your room mates might accidentally recognize you
2. Produce a nice wine cellar of good quality, then have it removed by persons unknown, during your absence
3. Leave various articles of some value (laptops, mouse, documents, articles of clothing and other valuables) most never to be seen again at various locations around the world
4. NEVER, NEVER, be on time for anything including airport and train depot departures
-This is referred to as "jackal time"
5. Only rent cars with discounts where they pay you to drive them
6. Plan the Alaska DO 2018
There are other requirements that will be added by others, but this is a small start to the list
