Alaska Investor Day 2017

Another year, another Investor Day. You can watch the entire presentation at https://investor.alaskaair.com/phoen...ventId=5251562.

Lots of info in it about the merger with Virgin, including seat changes to flights, how they'll redeploy planes (-900s for cross country, Airbus for west coast), etc.

I haven't had a chance to listen to the whole thing yet but recommend watching if you're at all interested in what Alaska plans for this year. Every year this is a fascinating look inside Alaska.

Gary has a recap of some of the key merger-related items on his blog: http://viewfromthewing.boardingarea....evate-program/

Agreed. Very interesting to see the thinking and strategy behind this merger. Definitely shows how different the thinking is behind the scenes than it seems to be on FT.

Chrome isn't letting me view the slides due to an issue with their security certificate. Which tells me that 1) AS needs to get their HTTPS sh*t together and 2) my fellow FTers need better security settings.

I get the certificate warning on Mobile Safari, but continuing anyway is still an option. The direct link is http://phx.corporate-ir.net/External...RJRD02NjQyMDE=

2) Some of your fellow FTers know how to navigate around a false positive.
