I think a day pass is any pass you purchase that is not part of the free ones you get for being 75K. With that said, I think a fair number of 75Kers who don't spend their time reading FT would see that sign and think that the day pass restriction applied to them. Once again, another opportunity for AS to create frustration before a passenger even sets foot on a plane...

5/10/17 10PM ANC BR PP user+guest (no sign)
5/11/17 5 AM PDX BR PP user (no sign, didn't ask @ guest)
Apparently policy is all lounges aside from ANC are not allowing guests.

I don't think ANC has really felt the squeeze of the PP issues or at least there are no reports of denied entry.

Just a curiosity question, The PP Select, at least for Citi Prestige card, says 2 free guests or immediate family (children under 18 and spouse). Is immediate family, such as a spouse, considered a guest and would be denied entry?

Unfortunately yes, your spouse would not be able to enter.

But individual lounge policy.
Go to PP website and look up AS lounges ( LAX, SEA etc) for current policies.
It now shows the policy of no guests effective 1May17.
If you are looking for SEA, there are PP -The Club- located at South terminal and Terminal C. These would allow guests. Just check for posted times when they will limit entrance. (1000 -1400 hrs)

Thank you for actually answering the question asked.
Your answer is irrelevant to what I actually asked. I know what the PP site says about AS lounges. It says no guests. I was asking if a spouse is considered a guest and was just stating what the Citi Prestige PP Select card says is the benefit as an example. So again, your answer was irrelevant to what I asked.

Mon 5/8 about 10:30am SEA D Lounge.
No sign out, was admitted without trouble but I saw the sign in the corner facing the wall, so it is available to use at will!
There was a prominent sign on the counter saying guests not allowed for PP and Lounge Buddy or whatever...
Lounge was just as busy as before the restriction, during the restriction, after... about 80% full.
Now one could say that just shows that their variable restrictions have been effective at keeping the right occupancy balance.... or one could say this is all unnecessary but I am sure they have filled up at times before the restriction.

Just confirming what appears to be the case now...

How is pointing me to the PP site to read the rules when the rules just say no guests? I was asking if a spouse is considered a guest as the Citi PP says guests or immediate family. So no, it was not relevant to what I asked.
