3/25, 7 a.m. D Lounge - OPEN - But by the time I went upstairs and then walked back down I could see out the door that the sign is now out. Got in just under the wire. Lounge probably 3/4 full.

EDIT: Lounge cleared out and when I left at 7:30 am the sign had been brought back in.

If it changes that frequently it might make sense to invest in an electronic sign that can be controlled from the front desk

Heck, just build it into the AS iOS/Android apps. Save everyone some time.

Lounge status
Lounge members - access
PP members - no access

Sounds like PP members are have 50/50 chance of entry

I think it's far less than 50/50....the whole sign thing is total joke....leave it out the whole time and put us out of our misery already.

That's not a solution. If they want to do that, terminate the Priority Pass relationship and give up the revenue cold turkey.

I still think AMEX would gladly work something out with them, possibly giving AS a higher revenue point than PP does, albeit with fewer total customers. BofA may even be agreeable to it, since BofA doesn't have a lounge-based card.

That might give them some of the cash they want without the headache of the PP volume, not to mention the workman's comp claims from placing and removing that sign every 5 minutes.

Holy cow!! Flight arrived at PDX a little early and no sign out (7:40am 3/26/17) and got in with PP just fine. A nice bite to eat before heading off for my day in Portland. Wonder how lucky I'll get tonight when heading back home.

After being fueled with everyone favorite pancakes upon leaving at 8am 3/26/17 the sign still wasn't out. Lounge probably only ~15% full.

Basically the entire state of Oregon is on Spring Break this week so this past weekend (and today to a lessor extent) should be a zoo at PDX.

It looked like they put out the sign during the time when N was packed with departing flights. Sign went back in after those left.

Was at LAX this morning and last night.

Last night (March 26th around 8pm): The sign was out, HOWEVER, I asked if they would let me in with PP and she asked me if the sign was still out downstairs. She said that they forgot to bring it in and they let me in.

This morning (March 27th around 6:00am): No sign out and was let in.

Having the sign downstais is an issue as agents don't constantly see it (need to take the elevator) if not remembering. Thanks for the data point.
