bring back the old view of U space on the website and the app. the new methods for visualizing U space really suck.

most importantly, fix the upgrade system once and for all

edit to add - partner phantom inventory, clean it up. seeing lots of this right now for AA at the end of the booking calendar, and everywhere on a specific route on QF. it is maddening that AS search tools are not better equipped to filter this stuff out.

+1 Yes, yes, yes!! That whole list. Especially the last one, so let me construct awards by segment instead of letting the broken AS system cobble together idiotic award ripoff combinations like the one PV_Premiere just outlined.

(And another thing: all functionality should track across the entire IT ecosystem. it's a mistake to fork features across different platforms. That's how you end up with such damned frankenstein environments to begin with. Kludgy as hell, universally hated...)

It wasn't until I saw a question on a recent thread that I realized how much manual work I do to verify COS bonuses.

It would go a long way to simplify things if AS updated the mileage activity page to break down the 500 minimum, COS bonus, and EQM portions.

+1 Great point. Transparency and clarity are very good things.

Can't believe no one has commented on the fact that Jenn seems to have gone away and been replaced by a search box!

Must have just happened as I saw Jenn just a couple days ago.

I just asked Jenn if she was still here, and she replied "I'm always here."

I didn't ask her anything else because I suspect Siri and Alexa are jealous.

Flight map/status more readily available, including w/o paying for GoGo

Incoming flight information

Seat maps available online on the day of departure, including upgrade lists

Ability to pre-order meals (with a reasonable window, e.g., at least 6-12 hours in advance)

Although I haven't had to check a bag in years, I agree with having bag tracking (also ensures greater accountability)

*** Does anyone at AS with the power to do anything actually read these posts, and take action?! ***

I heard from some Alaska insiders that Jenn was asked some quite inappropriate questions on a regular basis...

Really really make same-day change in the app actually work. I have had 3 episodes in the last 15 months where the process did not go through. Once they fixed it at the airport, the next time I was able to do it on the main site, but the third time was out of luck and missed the kids' bedtime.

Jenn can currently be accessed by entering her name in the search box, but it's not the same.

It's probably a stretch but I would love to have the App tell me how many miles I need for the next goalpost (MVP,etc.) by calculating my existing rezs accruals & adding them into the totals. Perhaps by showing them in a different color on the existing bar in the App.
I know, I'm lazy, but this would quickly allow me to have a constantly updated number for knowing just how many more miles I'll need to achieve status when I'm booking trips.
I suspect the biggest hurdle would be having the App breakdown the totals between years for rezs in the App that occur after January 1st.

The ability to see open seats and select another seat in the app when close to departure. UA has this feature and is great.
