US Airways Mileage Credit Post-SOC?

US and AA are getting their SOC next week. Do we still have to wait for reservations sys merge to start crediting US operated flights to AS?

It will likely depend on how you bought your ticket.

To qualify for mileage accrual, please note that your flights must fall within the eligible flight number range below and your flight must be marketed and operated by American Airlines.

Assuming that you bought your ticket via aa.com (001/AA stock, not 037/US), and that US no longer operates your flight, it's operated by AA... then, yes, it should work.

That being said, I would guess tickets via usairways.com might still be 037 stock until there's a single reservation system.

As another note... is there any way we can consolidate all the threads asking about US/AS?
