Not sure where that assumption comes from…OP's bio says they are MVPG, which means they get 200% RDM for miles flown on AS + partners - considering that it's possible to earn 1M+ AS miles without actually flying a single mile on AS, there's a lot of ways for someone to hit 1M RDMs without getting anywhere close to actual Million Miler status.

I think my actual Million Miler status is at something like 200K.
If BA F is really all that and a bag of chips, perhaps the fuel surcharge is a necessary evil someday?
