Alaska Mileage Plan "Asia"
Does anyone know what AS consider "Asia" for the CX inter-asia flights? I haven't been able to dig this up on their site. CX don't even list regions since their own plan is distance based.

Korea up to Singapore/Malaysia region. I think Maldives/Sri Lanka falls into India/Middle East chart.

I think Maldives falls under Asia while Sri Lanka falls under middle east

I'd love to get confirmation on the Sri Lanka aspect. I've been dying to go, but IIRC putting it in the Middle East bucket significantly increases the miles needed.

Unless starting from Korea/Japan, this is usually a very cheap flight from SIN, BKK or KUL and probably wouldn't be worth it for 25k AS miles.

I called a couple weeks ago and I can confirm that Sri Lanka is definitely Middle East/India.
