I "stole" a pillow from Swiss Business class that does wonders.... and I have an older blanket from United Business class that also works perfect (back when it was a REAL fabric!)

Pillows / blankets are long overdue, so this is a great enhancement. One thing I love about DL is that every F seat has a freshly laundered shrink wrapped blanket and pillow (as well as bottle of water) pre-set at every seat. Plus free <gasp> blankets for the hoi polloi in econo-hell on longer/red-eye flights.

Pillows and blankets

FYI, on AS17 this morning, a couple of F pax asked for a pillow/blanket (couldn't hear which; they were a row behind) and the FA loudly announced that all passengers would need to pay for them, including F. Not sure if it was misinformation, but it was forcefully delivered.

So if AS is wondering why uptake is a bit low on some flights for this offering, that might be why...

Yeah, I figured that was probably the case, given what AS Flyer said upthread. Sent it in to alaskalistens (not for compensation (!), but just to let 'em know that a bit more consistency in the offering would be good - and to note that having the pillows and blankets is a great step in the right direction).

Thanks!

Yes they are really nice I agree. Big too!

Pillow was a little disappointing. Gonna try to find a cover for it to Make it more cozy. Inflatable is nice though from a space saving perspective.
