I actually thought they already did SEA-MFR. Convenient place to park a plane overnight.

Delta is ~doubling the schedule on SEA-AUS, too, effective in October. On a date I checked it's 2x A319 (31J) - refurbed with pivot bins, AVOD, power, and 2Ku satellite wifi.

by now does any of this really matter to most of us, seriously. If you like DL then stay DL if like most of us AS is our metal of choice. That coupled with what do the airlines and hotels do with the millennial's who are not so loyalty centric Except interestingly enough credit cards.

AS is getting squeezed by their former buddies. AS has three routes out of MFR:
MFR-LAX has AA as of this summer.
MFR-SEA will soon have DL.
MFR-PDX seems safe.

I am sorry but I am not sure MFR is a "bellwether" for AS. And please this is not a shot at Medford. AS has especially with purchasing Virgin as well as it's own organic growth done a pretty damn good job of assembling a nationwide network. Are there holes of course there but when one steps back and takes a look at AS system 10 years ago and then today even without Virgin they have done a great job.

FF AS has done an excellent job of balancing that as well without going all in on an alliance. While I ..... from time to time I am still loyal, and tomorrow hit my 75K ( took two months off of flying) and marching to 1mm early next year.

Medford is seeing record growth at the airport, but it will be interesting over the next year. It is a Flight Attendant Base for AS, but they have reduced a flight a day from PDX, may be doing one from SEA, and now we learn that due to pilot shortage, no LAX the month of August.

Ill be curious to see how DL does on this one --

Speaking of pilot shortage I mentioned that to a friend of mine who is a UPS captain and he told me they hired some pilots from Horizon! and I thought buy the way they were talking the shortage was from growth

Looks like DL is upgrading FAI to mainline year round...a 319 shows up on the schedule all through the winter.

you know with all the screw ups at Horizon DL may drive a truck through those cracks opening up. No excuse to issues at hand with pilots it start at the top of Horizon. I wrote a letter to AS about this and within 10 minutes I got two more notices from them about future flights. ...?

I sincerely hope the wheels aren't coming off, they need a new CEO at Horizon

I can't make this up 10 minutes after writing AS about these schedule issues I get yet another change. Then today I get hit with a totally unacceptable change from BOI to SFO allowing only an hour window arriving and departing internationally. Really!

It was but we all know what is "legal" and what is practical are two different things Yes I did change. However looking at the flights I might just book UA NS to SFO from BOI just to me safe, we are going around to SA

DL is matching AS pricing on EUG-PDX, actually undercutting by about $4 on a RT via SEA or SLC but.... it's Basic Economy fares. $15 more each way for a real fare.
