Routing guidelines for Alaska international miles redemption
I am using Alaska miles to book a trip from Seattle to London on AA metal. I am hoping to make a stop over in city on the east coast or a open jaw once I am in Europe and leave from Frankfurt.
I have read that Alaska allows either an open jaw or a stop over on international flights, but have yet to find clear guidelines on the routing restrictions for that. I am not sure how much out of my way I can go.
For example, I am interested in the following possibilities:
Seattle -> Boston (stop over) -> London (destination) -> Seattle
Seattle -> Philadelphia (stop over) -> London (destination) -> Seattle
Seattle -> London (destination) Frankfurt (open jaw) -> Seattle
Could you please refer me to a resource so I know if these are legal?
Mileage Plan awards may include one of the following: a one-way, round-trip or open jaw itinerary. One en-route stopover at an eligible city is allowed on round-trip itineraries. An exception allowing an otherwise-illegal open jaw trip is permitted when travel is between the State of Alaska and the lower 48 states and a stopover occurs in Southeast Alaska. When award travel is redeemed solely on Alaska Airlines, one enroute stopover is allowed in each direction on a round-trip award. One enroute stopover is allowed on a one-way award. Round-trip itineraries with 2 stopovers, or one-way awards with 1 stopover may only be booked through an Alaska Airlines call center. They are not available online. Call center ticketing fees apply.
Thanks for the quick reply. I did see that. However, I was not able to find any information about what makes something an "eligible city", which is the crux of my issue.

Partner awards on AA and DL can be booked online.
To the OP: It doesn't appear that AS publishes comprehensive routing rules for awards - a common defect among U.S. FF programs - and prior inquiries have led to the recommendation to call rather than trying to use partner carrier fare routing rules.

Or rather, I should say: awards with stopovers can't be booked online.
Try booking ANC-BCN online. It can't be done even though AA & DL both fly there.
"The Award Finder calendar is only available for flights between Alaska Airlines cities. One or more of the cities you have selected is not serviced by Alaska Airlines. Uncheck 'Award Calendar' before continuing."
Even unchecking Award Calendar does not help.

The folks on the partner desk are terrific! I've never been on the phone with them for any length of time and my TATL itineraries are replete with stopovers, etc. Sometimes you have to be creative to work it out just the right way and the partner desk folks are really good at helping do this. Just explain what you are trying to accomplish, have some ideas of flights, etc. to give them and they'll chat with you until it all gets worked out. At least, that's my experience!
