Hello....I applied for the Canadian Mastercard but then changed my mind and cancelled it. The 25,000 bonus miles went into my account as my new card was on it way.....the question is, do I keep those miles or will they get rid of them?

How long did you keep the card? I am assuming in order to secure the 25k miles you had to at least make a purchase and pay for it.

Why wouldn't you just pay the $75 and cancel it after? The credit pull is already done.

The 25k miles are easily worth the $75. I would have just paid the annual fee and immediately cancelled. As is you can hope the points are not revoked. I don't feel you have a moral obligation to return them if you're not asked.

The offer is 25,000 "on approval" but you owe them $75 regardless of cancellation, so they could take back the 25k.
