PDX-BOS is 119 each way + tax or 259.20ai RT for almost every day of the sale as of today. If i needed more miles I would jump on this. First weekend in December looks like a gauaranteed upgrade for MVPG and really good chance for MVP. 12/5 immediate turn PDX-BOS-PDX F is empty (1 seat taken on the outbound) and MVP/G reserved seats are practically empty as well (all available on the outbound and 4 taken on the return)

@CDKing I saw that and thought of a MR. I also checked the teal seats (and F - empty) and saw that 99% were open...then I realized I didn't need any miles.

Did you get your 50K bonus yet?
If AS only had something at 100K (But I've booked enough travel for 2010 to secure MVP by July )
I also considered doing a SEA-BOS-SEA run ($280 ai) or even SEA-PDX-BOS-PDX-SEA ($300 ai), but I'm going to save my money for travel in 2010 instead. I'm going to just squeak into MVPG territory this year, even if I did two runs I'm still too far away from 75K for it to make sense.
Decent fares down to California though, I may spring for a weekend in sunnier weather.

no bonus yet. Will be at 210,000 RDM once it posts. now to figure out where to spend those points. Should probably go to Canada to visit my friend ($800 ticket for 25,000 points + $50 tax)
Last year it was $119 each way PDX-BOS from January through March.
