I received 33 credits (32 from promo and 1 for the spend I guess).

Booked a flight with 16 credits for business class from BOS to LAS. Hopefully everything goes smooth. Now have 17 credits left over and still have the 2 one-way voucher upgrades to business class.

My statement closed and 32 points were promptly deposited.

I believe so.. the upgrade business award vouchers I received (and has been posted previously on this thread) states than one has to wait till 24 hours before the flight to call in and see what is available.

I just used the last of my two upgrade certificates yesterday on an award ticket. I called in T-48 as an elite and they upgraded both legs of my award ticket.

Good luck and enjoy!

I am new to the AirTran & Southwest points. Sorry if questions have been answered.

Chase AirTran card gives 32 "credits", valued for 2 round trips, but AirTran will be merged with Southwest, do the credits convert to SW miles? if no, how do we use the credits after the merger? Thanks.

If you use the credits where Airtran planes are still used you can use them that way or do transfer them to SouthWest and use them through their website.

Just applied and got approved. The link showed 32 credits after 2k purchase in 3 months and also 2 business upgrade vouchers after 1st purchase.

I used the link from post #174 on page 12.

Is it true that you get two $50 discount vouchers every card anniversary if you are an elite member?

I got the 32 points, which gives me 2 flights that I converted to SouthWest.

However, when I converted, I got 2 flights which have MANY blackout dates:
http://www.southwest.com/rewardsconversionrules/

They don't work nearly as well as regular southwest 'points'. Is there any way to convert to 38,400 points so I can use as normal on SouthWest?

No, the "closest" IMO you could come to near anytime availability would be transfer back to Airtran and look for 1 RT in BC. BC takes 16 credits per OW.

Search the award availability for routes and dates by logging into your A+ account.

Dream big to get the most value.

Pardon my ignorance, but what do BC and OW stand for?

I got the gist of your post, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any details about the conversion
