Fed Arrest on Landing

Four federal cops, one airport officer and two KC police grabbed a pax at the end of the MCI jetway today. He was cuffed and taken out to the curb to await van transfer.

Should the rest of us have been concerned? I noticed no one accompanying him on board but may have missed the armed guard (FL 1708).

Seriously, I hope I DID miss the escort. A fugitive or felon traveling unaccompanied is a bit worrisome.

Probably no need to worry. Clearly he went through the TSA. IF he's being arrested for a white collar or non-violent crime then he wouldnt be a threat to other passengers.

It wasn't eventful enough to make the local news...

Seriously doubt this was white collar offender. But you're right about his clearing TSA watch list.

There was no incident of any kind during flight. And no PA to keep seated for agents. They grouped at the terminal end of the jetway. It wouldn't have been possible to see them from a plane window, IMO.

FL takes people who grab a second soft drink really seriously.
